Share the Journey – Wedding photography workshop by Petar Jurica and Marko Marinkovic – this workshop was on my bucket list for so, so long 🙂 Come Christmas last year I finally treated myself with a visit. The workshop took place early this spring at Super Super – Tvornica Katran in Zagreb, which was a perfect location for this kind of event. Honestly speaking, Marko and Petar are not just amazing photographers, but also mentors one can only wish for. Their mentoring style is very honest and open, nothing gets held back. That is exactly why I would recommend it to all my colleagues in a heartbeat. It might be the only workshop you will ever need 🙂 For me, this was a great start to a new wedding season. It gave me a new perspective on my own work and the industry in general as well as some new insights, but most importantly – some new friends, a whole lot of inspiration and a creativity boost I needed.

Networking, Networking!

One of the advantages of events like these is networking with colleagues from the industry, both from Croatia and several neighboring countries. Part of my great experience was definitely getting to know this awesome group of people. Some of them I knew from before, but others I’ve just met for the first time. After spending only two days together, I felt like we were friends for years. Along with soaking-in everything Marko and Petar, the two masters of wedding photography in Croatia (and worldwide) had to say, we shared our experiences, wedding stories and advice. I was pretty immersed into the whole experience, so I decided not to take too many photos. The ones I did take feature our two lovely models and the stunning location that hosted our session.
